Glasgow Photography Zine
 

The Glasgow Gallery of Photography invites photographers to submit work for a forthcoming photography zine celebrating Glasgow.
 

This publication will bring together a wide-ranging portrait of the city: its people, streets, architecture, music, communities, weather, industry, nightlife, green spaces, rituals, and everyday moments. We are interested in the many ways Glasgow is seen, felt, remembered, and imagined.
 

What does Glasgow mean to you?

It can be energetic or quiet, familiar or strange, proud or overlooked. Your images might document the city as it is, explore a personal connection to place, observe its changing landscape, or offer a new perspective on its character. From bold colour and striking compositions to intimate details, conceptual work, analogue photography, and documentary moments, we welcome a wide range of photographic approaches.

We invite photographers to share up to five images for consideration for the Glasgow Photography Zine.
Photographers do not need to be Glaswegians to submit.
 

The Glasgow Gallery of Photography is dedicated to supporting and showcasing photography and photographers at all stages of their practice. This zine will be a celebration of the photographers involved and a lasting record of the city through their eyes.

The publication will be available to buy through the gallery and online, and will be promoted across our social media and network contacts.

Submission information
 

• Submission is FREE
  (The zine will cost £10 to purchase)

• Photographers may submit up to 5 images

• Images can be submitted individually or as a short series

• Work must relate to or have been made in Glasgow

• We welcome submissions from photographers at all stages of their practice

• All photographic styles and processes are welcome, including digital, analogue, documentary, conceptual, portraiture, landscape, street photography, and experimental work

• Selected images will be included in the forthcoming Glasgow Photography Zine.

• The final selection, design, layout, and editorial decisions will be at the discretion of the Glasgow Gallery of Photography
   

Please submit high-resolution JPEG files, clearly labelled with your name and image title. Include a short statement of up to 150 words about your work or the submitted images, along with your name, contact email, website, and/or social media handle.

By submitting, photographers confirm that they hold the rights to the images submitted and grant the Glasgow Gallery of Photography permission to reproduce selected work in the zine and in related promotional material, with full credit.
